2019 Best Self Help Books

I’ve been at a lost. Ever since I completed my masters I feel like I haven’t grabbed life by the horns as much as I did. I can’t believe how I balanced work, school, family, my relationship, my friends during these last 2 years. I can say I’m extremely proud of all that I accomplished - but now what? I have to tell you, I’ve been getting into some self help books.

I have to admit I’ve been lazy, if you didn’t read my last Moving Home post, Moving Home #4, I highly recommend you do. The post basically summarizes how crazy the end of 2018 was. In short:

  • I completed my thesis

  • I landed a new job

  • I was busy back and forth with family and friends

  • I started a new fitness plan

Basically, I did more than I thought I could possibly accomplished. Can someone have a productivity or stress hangover? Cause I certainly had one for the last 3 weeks! I have been seriously slacking at work, scrolling all day through instagram, not working on my blog or outside endeavors, not learning skills like I used to, and also been watching way more TV that I ever had previously in my life.

I decided enough is enough, I need some help! I decided to turn to self help books because I’ve always found them inspiring and have been able to pull something actionable that I can do in my own life. Below are the books I am reading as well as the progress I have made with each. My goal for 2019 is to read at least 10 books.
